Psychotherapy for Adults
I am a psychotherapist located in South East Seattle. I work with individual adult clients who are facing anxiety, depression, life transitions, loss, grief, trauma, and challenges at work or in relationships. I also work with couples on improving their communication and intimacy as they face challenges of parenting, balancing work and family, or simply staying "in touch" with each other as life distractions pull at them.
Because I am aware that finding the right therapist can be daunting, I would like to give you a sense of me and my practice so you can decide if you would like to read on.
Curiosity, creativity, and compassion are the primary elements that I bring to my therapy practice. My office is located in a small private cottage adjacent to my home in the Seward Park/Columbia City neighborhood. This setting reflects my commitment to providing clients with a quiet and calm space within which to explore together the challenges they face and the possibilities for self-understanding and change that emerge from our conversations.
If you would like to know more about my background, my approach to therapy, and how to contact me, I invite you to explore the pages on this site.
